Google has the answer, you can download the Google Adsense Preview Tool.
This cool piece of software, will show you which ad's are running on your website or blog.
Their are a few options too, i live in Spain and because my IP address is here, i get lots of Adsense Ad's that are Spanish and based in Spain and even my area. This will obviously not show which Ad's are running in lets say, San Francisco, California.
This is quite a draw back for me, but after a using the Choose Options menu, it is possible to see Ad's from different locations around the world.

And whatever you do, don't click on your own ad's, thats just plain silly!

One of the most important things to remember with Adsense is, Less is More.
Some Bloggers think if the ad is their as soon as the page loads, im going to get a click, well it dosent work like that. People have visited your page because they wanted to, not just to come, click the ad and leave. A lot of Adsense publishers actually hide their ad away in a corner, it works better for them.
Everyone is different and it will take time for you to find which ad size, colour and placement is best for you, try different ads every few weeks and see how your earnings differ.
Google also has YouTube video clips as well as the normal Text and Image units, why not try these out too, you can find these in your Adsense account under Set-up.
How to get backlinks and free traffic.
The best way to improve your search engine rankings is to get backlinks.
Backlinks are the best ways of improving your rankings, some will disagree, but most internet marketers will tell you this works. A lot of people also believe that Google Spiders dont even look at meta tags, this may be true, but im sure most people still insert tags, just in case.
Here are sure fire ways of getting backlinks and traffic.
1. Join StumbleUpon and get your site listed. Some people swear by StumbleUpon.
2. Get your blog on Technorati. This is one of the biggest blog sites online, get produce a mass of traffic.
3. Create a Facebook profile and get freinds. Add your websites and blogs in your profile, you will be surprised how many people actually look at your blogs.
4. Submit your posts not blogs to Digg. Digg is a site that reads your posts, if your post is a hot story or topic, you will get traffic and reviews also.
5. List your blog at MyBlogLog, a cool site that likes blogs. You can use your Yahoo id to login, easy to use and search engine friendly.

If your wondering what the RSS feed is, and what it can do, here's a few things that it does. People can subscribe to your feed, and keep up to date with your blog, in simple terms. You can submit your RSS feed to tons of site, making it appear on search engines all over the world, believe me RSS feeds are viral and spread like wildfire.
Now once you have done all that. made your feed. You need to submit your RSS feed to some of the RSS submit sites. Their are literally tons of these online, so it's wise to choose the biggest and best ones. Here is a list of the ones i use, you can use as many as you like.

Finding Your Niche - Adsense Tips and Tricks
Their are a few more things you must think about when you start building your blogs or websites.
Do you want to work like a dog for $1 a day building and publishing multiple sites, or would you rather have 1 blog that makes you $100 a day?
When you start out, you will probably find that you will make zero, it takes time, never give up.
Somedays when you make zero, you think "Why am i doing this for nothing?", well one day, when your making $20 per day, thats when when you realize that your glad you didnt quit.

This is one of the most commonly asked questions about Adsense, "Where is the best place to have my Adsense ad?", well the easiest answer would be, "Where everyone can see it" but it's not that easy. When your Website or Blog is built and ready for the ad's, try doing a quick search of Google for other site's similar to yours and see where they are placing their ad's. Some sites work best with Bold ad types, where as some others work best when the ad blends well with the background.
Some Blogs have even been known to hide their ad in a corner, this worked for them so it might work for you.

- Adsense Large Rectangle Ad's are the ones shown to work best. The reasons for this are quite simple, the Large Rectangle shows 4 ad's, giving your viewer 4 more chances of clicking.
- Your daily readers are the one's less likely to click on your ad's, strive for more daily traffic that's fresh, your daily readers will only read your post's, they dont come to click your ad's.
- Try harder to get high up on Google Search results, yur traffic that come's from Google, are more likely to click on your ad.

How can i improve my Adsense Earnings?
Their are many simple factors that can improve your Adsense earnings, but the easiest one is, not to concentrate on making money from your website or blog, but to build up a constant stream of new and returning traffic first. We all know that our websites or blogs are useless without traffic, and so is Adsense, but without first building up a fan base that will return over and over, not forgeting new traffic that will give you a big boost to your earnings, all your hard work will be worth nothing.

Don't Try Cheating Google
One of the first thing people think is that they can cheat Google out of their cash, Google is huge im sure everyone knows that, but they are not stupid. Google is one the worlds largest and most profitable companies, and they wont let you cheat them out of 1 cent.
A lot of people have tried to cheat Google out of a few cents and lost, the reason is Adsense and Adwords are some of the webs most popular and profitable Pay Per Click programs, and Google dosent want them to become a joke.
So, do not try and click on your own ads, it's not worth getting banned for life from what could turn out to be one of the easiest and most profitable ways of working from home.
Competitive Ad Filter
A few days ago my Adsense earnings started a slow decline, my earnings were starting to drop and i got a little concerned. When i first started out with Adsense, the same thing happened, so i did some research and found out that this was perfectly normal, but i've been doing this for some time now, and i didnt want this to happen again.
For a while now i have always had mixed feelings about the Competitive Ad Filter, a built in feature to weed out the ads that dont work. So i decided to delete every single url i had placed in the filter (i saved the list in a wordpad file, just in case this backfired), to see what would happen, and guess what, my earnings tripled overnight, i couldn't believe it either.
I decided to stick it out a few more days, and i can still say that my earnings are up, im just hoping it stays there.
Im not saying this is going to work for everyone, but if you use the Competitive Ad Filter feature try it for a few days and see what happens.
Im also not really sure why my earnings went up, their are many Gurus out there who think they know Adsense like the back of their hands, but even they have bad days.....they just dont tell you about it.
